Professional Development Packages

The Idea Institute provides schools with a personalized and teacher-centric professional development (PD) experience. We have created several PD packages that result in sustained school improvement. In addition, we are happy to provide additional bespoke services determined by your school’s unique needs.

Foundational PLC Package:

This package for up to 20 teachers includes a listening tour of 12 hours, with preparation and review; an implementation plan with two iterations based on feedback and revision from the school; a PLC with 30 hours in professional development time; and mid-and end-year progress reports with collection and interpretation of data.  

Individual Coaching PLC Package: 

This package for up to 20 teachers includes a listening tour of 12 hours, with preparation and review; an implementation plan with two iterations based on feedback and revision from the school; a PLC with 30 hours in professional development time; 12 hours of 1:1 online meetings with faculty in the PLC; and mid-and end-year progress reports with collection and interpretation of data.  

Exhibition PLC Package: 

This package for up to 20 teachers includes a listening tour of 12 hours, with preparation and review; an implementation plan with two iterations based on feedback and revision; a PLC with 30 hours in professional development time; 12 hours of 1:1 online meetings with faculty in the PLC; planning, implementation, and assessment of an Exhibition of Learning; and mid-and end-year progress reports with collection and interpretation of data.

Ask us about add-ons, such as classroom observations and communications to parents and other stakeholders. In addition, we have successfully partnered with several school districts to receive PD funding through Title IIa.
