The I.D.E.A. Schools Network’s Summer Sandbox

Our project-based learning conference

Our Summer Sandboxes are professional development conferences for educators who want to learn how to implement project-based learning and educational innovation in their classrooms and schools. We launched the East Coast Summer Sandbox in 2013, and expanded to the West Coast in 2015. In the summer of 2014, Tikvah Wiener and Dr. Eliezer Jones formed the I.D.E.A. Schools Network, with a generous grant from the Joshua Venture Group. Since then, the Network has trained close to 1,000 educators through our Sandboxes and workshops.

We'll open The Idea School Institute at The Idea School, in order to provide training and support to educational innovators.
