A senior risk professional at a multinational investment bank, Lisa has 20 years of experience in investment banking in a variety of roles, including risk, strategy and investment banking where she has identified commercial opportunities, advised clients, and structured numerous transactions within the financial service sector. Lisa is a Board Member of Sharsheret, spearheading the Board Investment Committee.
An independent investor, developer and project manager, Isaac comes from having formerly served as Chief Executive Officer at Itzhaki Properties where he was in charge of the day-to-day operation of the ten year old, top ten investment sales firm. Isaac came to Itzhaki Properties with over fifteen years of real estate experience. Most recently, Isaac served as Director of Retail Leasing at Massey Knakal Realty. Previously, Isaac served as the founder and the managing partner of Gramercy Auctions, a New York City based Real Estate Auction Company. Isaac had taken a principal position and been responsible for developing more than 200,000′ of ground-up and adaptive reuse real estate projects.
Isaac received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from New York University. While enrolled as a PhD candidate in the Linguistics department, Isaac was a Research Scientist at NYU’s Courant Institute for Applied Mathematic where he assisted in the U.S. Department of Defense Advanced Research Projects (DARPA) funded Proteus project, a project focused on natural language processing and computational linguistics.
An accomplished senior technologist and manager with over thirty years of experience on Wall Street. A former Senior Vice President at Lehman Brothers and independent consultant with a client list that includes major IT firms, international banks and “Big Four” firms, Raz has built a career on working with businesses and helping identify and implement streamlining and cost-saving strategies. He is currently the Head of Information Technology and Infrastructure at a leading financial technology firm.
Raz brings a unique combination of technology, business and analytical skills that he is now focusing on the educational innovation. Raz received his undergraduate degree from Yeshiva University. He lives Englewood, NJ with his wife Debbie and has four adult children.
An experienced entrepreneur and senior manager, Richard has over 20 years’ experience as a small business owner and has been the Executive Director of the Hebrew Institute of Riverdale for the past six years. He consults with synagogues around the country, advising on best practices in organizational management, member relations, information technology and human resources, and is a sought after speaker at educational conferences for synagogue leaders. Richard spent many years as an active volunteer - coaching youth basketball and baseball and refereeing Swim Meets for the Northern NJ JCC Swim League. He is a graduate of the Columbia/UJA-Federation Institute for Jewish Executive Leadership and a past board member at Congregation Netivot Shalom in Teaneck.
Until her retirement six years ago, Jane was in Jewish education for over 30 years. For the bulk of her career, she was at HAFTR, where she taught Biology, AP Biology, Biological Components of Behavior and was also the head of the Science Department, responsible for writing the Science component for Middle States accreditation and outlining philosophy, goals, and techniques for Science education in the school. Before working at HAFTR, Jane taught General Science and Biology at HANC Upper School, and after HAFTR, she taught AP Biology at Rambam Mesivta. Since retiring and moving to New Jersey from the Five Towns, Jane has continued to tutor students in Biology and Environmental Science. Jane has a BS and an MS+ credits in Biology and has licenses to teach Biology and General Science in NY and PA.
Rabbi Dr. Henry Hasson is an Assistant Professor of Neurology and Pediatrics, and practices Child Neurology in Brooklyn, New York. He gives classes and lectures at Ohel David and Shlomo in Brooklyn. He was ordained with Semicha in 2002 from Yeshivat Pirchei Shoshanim. He attended Yeshiva of Flatbush, Bet Midrash L'Torah, received a BA in Chemistry from NYU, and an MD from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University. He is married with 4 daughters who attend Midreshet Lindenbam/Colorado College, Bard College at Simon's Rock, The Idea School, and Luria Academy. He also serves as president of HODS (the halachic organ donor society). He is also a board member of his synagogue and the board of education at Yeshiva of Flatbush, spending a few years as co-chairman of the board of ed at Flatbush.
Alison Landa is the Director of Teaching and Learning at Yavneh Academy, where she works with teachers in the areas of curriculum, instruction and assessment. Alison has served as a grade level teacher, literacy coach, curriculum coordinator, inclusion specialist, special education teacher, and technology integration specialist. She has shared PBL units and progressive literacy approaches at the International Society for Technology Integration, and the Maker and Creator Conference. Alison has also published articles and book chapters on children and families.
Alison brings her dedication, experience, and passion for authentic, differentiated learning opportunities to every forum. She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and educational studies from Haverford College, a master’s degree in early childhood education and special education from New York University, and advanced training in literacy from the University of Pennsylvania. She currently lives in Englewood, New Jersey with her husband, Josh, and three sons.
